And then there were five

Last Saturday the Aussie family took off from Adelaide Airport and after 26 hours of travel arrived in Tampa FL to meet up with the American branch.

Of course Little Miss G and and Little Mr T had already met about 3 years ago when Little Mr T and his parents came back to Adelaide for a short visit. But Little Miss G and Little Mr T were too young then to remember that encounter.

So this post is just begging for a photo of all five together but they tell me that five kids on the move, or four moving at least, makes a photo hard to get. I live in hope.

A pair and a trio

2 + 3 = 5

So on the right is a photo of Little Miss G and Little Miss E taken late last year.

And to the left a very recent photo of Little Mr T, Little Mr B, and Little Mr X hanging around as brothers do.

#5: Little Mr X

Little Mr X is the last of the tribe. We travelled to the USA to be there in time for his birth late last year.

From the beginning he has been a happy little fellow and now it his hard to believe he is nearly 6 months old.

In this photo he is wearing the "monthly" outfit that both his brothers have already worn. In fact when you see the same outfit on Mr B. it is hard to tell them apart.

#4: Little Miss E

Little Miss E was born in the same hospital as her older sister in May nearly two years ago.

Right from the beginning it has been evident that she is a mind of her own.

#3: Little Mr B

Little Mr B was born in the USA and has dual Australian and US citizenship.

We were in the USA for his birth and came home when he was one month old, only to hear within a week that he had been hospitalised with a viral respiratory illness. He was in hospital for nearly a week, and hasn't looked back since.

Little Mr B is a very healthy two year old these days.

#2: Little Mr T

Where did the time go? Mr T turned 4 this week.

He was born in Abu Dhabi and has lived in the US for two years.

He now has two brothers.

Here he is with his mother whom I think he resembles strongly.

#1: Little Miss G

Miss G - 2 days old
Currently all the grandkids are under 4 and a half years.

The oldest is Little Miss G, today a kindy kid, a strapping 4 year old.

She was born in the same hospital as her mother and auntie, just down the road from where we live.

From the very beginning, people have said "we can see she is related to you", but these days she is tall for her age, and slim, but she is still blonde.

The aim of my blog

I am actually creating the blog as part of leading a How to Blog course for Campbelltown U3A.

I have 5 grandchildren ranging from 4 years to 5 months, three boys in the USA and two girls here in Australia.

I thought I might use the blog to introduce them to you.
